Surrounded by water
We nurture such plants
Indoors, outdoors
Yards and parks
We've molded them
To impersonate what
We want nature to be

Our tides, forever turning
From moon to sun and back
Wild with rhythms and moods
Barely understood
Free us from what we can't be
