A digital cleanse and a walk down memory lane at the same time.
I have dozens of tabs saved on my phone's Chrome browser. I started fresh with no tabs in 2020 just before covid-19 hit, so the tabs are a digital diary of my web searches from that time forward.
As I save them here, starting from the beginning, they get deleted from my phone. Today I have 88 tabs open. These are the first 5:
- bonappetit.com/recipe/olive-oil-cake - Not surprising to find this first, as EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) cake IS my favorite. Any recipe that calls for 1 1/4 cups EVOO plus 2 Tbps. of for drizzling on the cake after baking.. YUUUUM!
- acefitness.org/education-and-resources/professional/expert-articles/6936/6-glute-med-exercises - Due to hip surgery many years ago, my gluteus medius is my weakest link. It needs constant stretching and strengthening.
- worldatlas.com/articles/the-territories-of-the-united-states.html - Refreshing my knowledge of US Territories. Searching for general knowledge is a going to be a theme here: I'm a factoid geek. Thanks, Internet <3
- g.co/kgs/KcjVvt - Google results from "The Schuyler Sisters"; I was prepping for Hamilton in NYC and really wanted to hear this song and learn the lyrics. We had plans to go Spring 2020, complete with Hamilton tickets. All cancelled due to covid-19. I am 100% going to have an epic NYC trip someday.
- scienceblogs.com/startswithabang/2009/08/24/a-question-of-why-the-analemma - I love astronomy. I'm always learning more, and can't get enough details about any of it. I've got an idea for an art piece that includes an analemma from my approximate location on earth.
Do you save a lot of tabs? Do you use an app for your lists that is not a "List" app? Did you click on either of the links to learn about analemmas?
